Torre del Port Museum, Cambrils

Torre del Port Museum, Cambrils

The Torre del Port, also known as the Torre dels Moros, located in the maritime quarter, has become an icon of our seaside town since the arrival of tourists to Cambrils. Built as a watchtower to defend the town from pirate attacks in the 17th century, the building is listed as a Cultural Asset of National Interest and is open to the public, intermittently, to enjoy the temporary exhibitions that are housed there.

The exhibitions at La Torre del Port are especially focused on the local maritime heritage, such as fishing, the sea or the fishermen’s neighbourhood where it is located, among others. The view from its terrace is truly marvellous, especially on clear days when you can see not only the entire port but also a large part of the nearby beaches.
