Molí de les Tres Eres Museum
The Molí de les Tres Eres Museum is the headquarters of the Cambrils History Museum. In addition, you can also discover a spectacular hydraulic flour mill in operation, one of the few that are still active in our region, thanks to its faithful restoration.
Entering the underground rooms of the Molí de les Tres Eres allows us to understand how flour was obtained more than a century ago, before the arrival of electricity. Thanks to the exhibition of the Molí de les Tres Eres, visitors can experience the hard work of the miller, who operated machinery that was foreign to the vast majority of his countrymen, who, at that time, were predominantly engaged in agriculture, especially the cultivation of cereals.
Generations and generations of people from Cambrils had been watching the harvest and its yield, which could only be measured if more or less flour came out of the dozen or so hydraulic flour mills in the municipality. The survival of an entire village and its families depended on it.
