Vinícola de Nulles, Tarragona

La Vinícola de Nulles is a spectacular modernist winery dating back to 1917, recognized as an authentic Cathedral of Wine. Its unique brick and stone facade stands proudly in the village of Nulles, a small rural town located in the heart of Alt Camp, close to Roman Tarragona and the Costa Dorada.

Thanks to its internationally acclaimed Mediterranean wines and remarkable cavas, it seems to exist suspended between centuries-old wisdom and eternal youth. In an ancient wine-growing land surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, and hazelnut groves, with walls and dry-stone huts, it’s a small oasis where time seems to have stopped long ago. Its wines and cavas, crafted in the same century-old vats, express this land marked by the Mediterranean breeze and a culture of effort.

In Nulles, we find a warm, temperate, and distinctly Mediterranean climate. Located just 12 km from the sea, it combines excellent ripening due to ample hours of sunlight with good acidity provided by the sea, resulting in wines that offer a very refreshing sensation.

From the very beginning of the winery, they have primarily focused on the native white grape varieties of the region: Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Moscatel, which yield excellent results. However, they have also been successfully working with other varieties for some time, such as Parellada and Chardonnay for whites, and Tempranillo and Merlot for reds.
