Discover the magic of the Ebro Delta
Excursions or activities in this area allow you to discover its great natural wealth and unique landscape.
The Ebro Delta is a place of great tourist attraction due to its rich biodiversity, its natural beauty and its unique landscapes. It is considered one of the most important ecosystems in the Mediterranean, as it is home to a great diversity of aquatic bird species, some of them migratory, which find refuge in its wetlands and lagoons.
In addition, the delta is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including protected and endemic species. There are several key points in the area that allow you to appreciate this biodiversity and discover the habits of waterbirds, and from Pepita Bandert Apartments, in Cambrils, we recommend you visit them.

Nature reserve
Located at the northern end of the Delta, this nature reserve is a refuge for native fauna and flora, but at present, in order to protect them, access to this natural island in the river is restricted.
Our recommendation is to visit the Riumar viewpoint, which offers a magnificent view of the Illa de Buda from the other side of the river. Or sign up for the Buda&Bike bike rides organised by the Sant Jaume d’Enveja Town Council. They are held throughout the summer and allow you to appreciate this unique protected landscape.
The Ebro Delta is an ideal place for lovers of natural scenery, as the landscape found here is exceptional. Its extensive rice fields, the canals and estuaries of the river Ebro, sand dunes and unspoilt beaches create a unique combination of colours and textures. There are many interesting spots from which to observe the landscape and explore nature.
